The Loire Valley

The Loire Valley, better known as the “Garden of France”, is located in central France with the Loire River running through the heart of it. The region offers over 250 kilometers of luscious fields, which are filled with vineyards, orchards and rich history. The area is famous for its cultural landscape, architecture and tourism. Historic towns line the banks of the rivers and are accompanied by some of the world’s most famous cheateaus.

The Abbey of Pontlevoy is located right in the middle of the lush Loire Valley. The Abbey’s location gives visitors a great opportunity to be able to visit the French countryside while still having the opportunity to soak in Paris.
